The War in Iraq

I was watching a Sunday Morning on CBS this past Sunday. The comedian Lewis Black was one of the featured stories. In one of his stand-up routines he makes comments about the war in Iraq. He state.... "Iraq didn't have the weapon, Iran did," he said during a stand-up routine. "So we went into Iraq. What's the matter? Couldn't the CIA tell the difference between an n and a q?" Well.... couldn't they?

The reasons for us originally going into Iraq were based on lies. So why haven't we pulled out? Why weren't the soldiers pulled out of Iraq immediately? This American doesn't understand. We're not wanted there. We're not needed there. How does the President justify helping people who don't want and haven't asked for help? So what if there is a civil war in Iraq if we leave? Haven't most countries gone through and survived civil wars?

It's time to let Iraq stand or fall on its own. We're not going to be able to prevent terrorists from hiding in Iraq... hell, we have them hiding in America! Bush's logic, if you can call it that, is illogical at best.
